From the Crayj military knives collection :
MISSION KNIVES model MDK prototype
This MDK is number P19 of (24) Prototypes made in late 2001. The Knife was given to Chief Warrant Officer J. Maddox (USMC Reconnaissance Officer) by Mr. John Moore (former owner
of Mission Knives) for testing purposes. This knife was carried by CWO Maddox during
OIF/Liberation of Iraq. It is not known if the well made custom knife sheath came Mission, or if CWO Maddox had it made to replace the awkward hytrel MPK scabbard that might have originally come with the knife.
